Paloma Estevez

Born and raised in the midst of the Southern California entertainment industry, Paloma Estevez has always had a passion and natural talent for music. From her early beginnings playing trombone in jazz and classical situations, to discovering her natural talent as a drummer almost by chance, her musical dedication is equaled only by her accessibility and personality. Technically superb, and a graduate of The Musician's Institute in Hollywood, Ms. Estevez is now the rock foundation behind LA's premier female-led indie-rock quartet, Hear Kitty Kitty.

Paloma's drumming story is a fascinating one, one that started in childhood with occasional hand percussion alongside her father. That all changed on Halloween 1999, when Paloma, totally untrained, was thrust in front of a party crowd of over 200 people to perform live on a kit for the first time ever. She was a natural, excelled in the situation, and hasn't looked back since. She's played all over LA, from the Whiskey to the Roxy, from British Columbia through the Philippines, and with acts like Rex, Theolonious Brown, and Jackson Cook. Paloma is also a respected instructor, and her overall abilities have earned her multiple endorsements, including DC California, Soultone Cymbals, and even a full band endorsement from those killer cats over at Coffin Case.
